Judge Malcolm Simmons is a judge at His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service. He is also His Majesty’s Coroner. He served as an international criminal judge from 2004 to 2017 hearing serious organised crime cases. He is highly experienced dealing with complex, serious crimes. Judge Simmons presided in many complex, high-profile criminal cases. He was a member of judicial councils in Bosnia & Herzegovina and in Kosovo. He led the European Commission justice project in the Republic of Maldives, following which he was invited by the European External Action Service to assist in the design of its future engagement with judicial institutions of Maldives.
